Around 30 scholars from Kyushu university either conducted research in the past or ran a research project in Nepal. Scholars from different fields have research connections for field surveys, paper writing, and conference participation. Environmental engineering, agriculture, humanities, anthropology, medical-related fields are major fields, religious (Buddhism), etc., are the major fields of study that Kyushu University scholars are conducting research collaboration in Nepal. Although Kyushu University and Nepal neither have a bilateral agreement for research collaboration nor too many individuals are working in Nepal, it is picked here because Q-AOS conducted the Nepal Forum during 2021 Asia week. A total of 10 scholars from different fields gave a presentation in the forum, which motivated many people to perform collaborative multidisciplinary research. Thus, the connection between Kyushu University and Nepal can flourish shortly.
