Kyushu University has agreements with two universities in Singapore. Kyushu University has an inter-university student agreement with the National University of Singapore, and various joint research projects are underway in the fields of engineering, arts and sciences, agriculture, and others. There have been joint research projects with the University's Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering. In addition, research on the intestinal flora of Asian people is being conducted extensively in collaboration with TUAT, the National University of Singapore, and other Asian universities. In addition to concluding an inter-university academic agreement with Nanyang Technological University, the Graduate School of Arts and Engineering of TUAT has an inter-departmental student agreement with the College of Arts, Design, and Media, College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and is promoting exchange.
