First, it is a history and overview of my education, research and practice as a graduate of the School of Environmental Design. Next, I will discuss the development of Satochi/Satoyama volunteer conservation activities, their role and what they can achieve. Then I will introduce the mechanism of agricultural volunteer activities during disasters, which began to develop around 2012.
