The purpose of this webinar series is to provide opportunities not only to learn research related with SDGs in Asian and Oceanian regions and but also to expand your research network in different academic areas. We want to create beautiful spaces using inexpensive materials. We want to create circulative systems using local materials and technologies. Masaaki Iwamoto Laboratory conducts research, design, and social implementation from these interests. In the Brown Bag Seminar, 'Knot Hole House' (2017, ADAN Architects of the Year), 'TRIAXIS Suma Kaigan' (2018, Kukan Design Award Gold Prize), 'Kyushu University Bio Lab' (2019, Kukan Design Award Bronze Prize), 'Auxetic Pavilion' (2022, iF Design Award) and other works will be explained and introduced to the daily design practice of the Iwamoto Lab in Japan and Asia.
