As of 2022, Kyushu University has agreements with 34 universities and research institutes in Taiwan.
Among them, Kyushu University has relatively strong ties with each of the universities listed below, and researchers from Kyushu University in various fields, both humanities, and sciences, have conducted joint research, performed field surveys, and participated in conferences and research seminars.
For example, there are deep ties with National Taiwan University through international educational events and social contribution activities, and events for students, young researchers, and engineers. It is often chosen as a travel destination as well.
National Taiwan Normal University has also conducted some interesting exchanges, such as an international joint research project to investigate and compare the English motivation of high school and university students in Taiwan and Japan.
