Professor Son Yonghoon from the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University has joined us as a Visiting Professor. He is scheduled to spend one year in Prof Tanaka's lab.

Professor Son obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2007. His areas of expertise are rural planning and landscape planning. 
Prof Son will be the focal point of SNU-Kyushu collaboration.
