On March 6, 2026, Associate Professor Satomura's project was selected for the "Incubate" course of the Inamori Foundation Research Grants. The project is titled "Mechanisms Behind the Stagnation of Girls’ Education in Post-COVID-19 Laos: Gender and Narratives." This research will be conducted as a collaborative project grounded in the "Resilience and Gender Equality" module, one of the modules comprising the Social Cluster of Q-AOS. The "Incubate" course, newly launched this year alongside the "Accelerate" course, is designed to provide stronger support for original and promising research in the fields of natural sciences, as well as the humanities and social sciences.
