Abstract
Physical and mental functions gradually decline with age. However, regularly engaging in exercise and making thoughtful adjustments to the living environment can help support a more active lifestyle. In this seminar, the speaker will present research on physical fitness and living environments for older adults, including community activities such as exercise classes and assessment sessions, as well as findings from laboratory studies on their physical and movement characteristics. The seminar will also explore strategies to promote an active lifestyle in later life.
