Abstract
We humans usually think that each of us lives on our own and makes our own decisions according to our own will. But in the reality, we're always connected to something or someone, so we can't help but find some meaning in communicating with other systems. The way we make decisions is also affected by the different systems in society.
In today's seminar, we're going to use German sociologist N. Luhmann's social systems theory to think about what influences we get from each of society's systems and, as a result, how we make our decisions.
