Global health is an interdisciplinary approach that aims to ensure that all people, regardless of their circumstances, can lead healthy lives by addressing health challenges across borders. This seminar focuses specifically on mothers and children in global health and explores the question: "How can mothers and children receive continuum and appropriate health care?" To answer this question, the speaker will introduce research on the development of sustainable maternal and child health systems in regions and countries with limited access to health services. In particular, she will discuss the use of digital health, a rapidly emerging field, by presenting research on the implementation of telehealthcare for mothers and children in abroad. She will discuss the potential of digital tools for maternal and child health management and diagnostic support systems, and explore their role in improving access and quality of care.
