The accumulation of scientific evidence on disease predisposition is an urgent issue for a prolonged healthy life. In particular, for many diseases that can be prevented by lifestyle modification (Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)), there is a long period between the predisposing exposure and the onset of the disease, therefore, the evidence obtained only from basic, cross-sectional, and clinical studies is limited. In this module, an interdisciplinary collaborative platform is formed to demonstrate, disseminate, and utilize, through the integration of basic, clinical, cross-sectional, and longitudinal research, the impact of oral health status and nutrients and environmental chemicals that ingested orally on NCD predispositions in the next generation. We will respond to new academic fields and interdisciplinary research through the university's comprehensive knowledge and collaboration with leading universities in the world. The results of such fusion research will be used to construct a medical information database through industry‒ academia collaboration and international joint research, which will lead to social return that meets the needs of both developed and developing countries and establish an organizational structure that creates new values and benefits.
