Hefei city has experienced significant urban growth since 2010 and facing severe problems due to the rapid growth of the population and urban expansion. In 2017 Hefei government began the construction of the subway system and introduced the Transit-oriented Development (TOD) concept as a guideline to reduce the transport pressure and environmental pollution. However, transit and surrounding areas were developed sperately, which failed to mazimize the benefits. The objective of this research is to integrate land-use and transit network as a strategy to reduce the negative impact of rapid urbanization.
