日本のバイオディーゼル製造プラントの生産効率性分析

PDF
バイオディーゼル燃料(BDF)は、植物油から作られる燃料であり、日本では主に廃食用油を原料としている。廃食用油を利活用することで、CO2排出量の削減に貢献できる。しかし、BDFの製造工場では、製造コストが大きいため、地方自治体からの補助金に頼らざるを得ない状況にある。 この問題を解決するために、本研究ではデータ包絡分析(DEA)を用いて日本の39のBDFプラントの生産効率性を評価した。

Interesting research. Do you know any other country/regions you can apply your study? In other words, do you know any other country which utilize waste cooking oil for biofuel? >In Japan, it is produced from waste cooking oil collected from businesses and households

Thank you for your question. Various countries and companies such as China, EU, and Southeast Asia are producing BDF derived from waste cooking oil. This research can be applied to any region where waste cooking oil is generated.

Thank you for your question. Since this study focuses on technical efficiency based on the input of methanol and potassium hydroxide and the production of BDF, we do not consider CO2 emissions. However, as you have asked, as we expand the scale of the project, we can expect an increase in CO2 emissions due to an increase in the power consumption of the plant and other factors. As a future development of our research, we would like to evaluate not only the technical efficiency, but also the production efficiency of the factory production process itself, taking into account labor and capital, and the environmental performance, taking into account CO2 emissions.
