略歴

ネパールの農村地であるNuwakot郡のPhikuri村出身。高校卒業後、ネパールの首都であるカトマンズのPublic Youth Campus, Tribhuvan大学を卒業し、2013年3月に来日。2016年4月から東京農業大学国際農業開発学科の博士前期課程に進学し、2018年3月に修了。2018年4月から千葉大学園芸学研究科・博士後期課程へ進学。博士課程3年目でJSPS特別研究員として採用されて、卒業式に成績優秀者として表彰された。2021年4月から母校である東京農業大学国際バイオビジネス学科でJSPS特別研究員（ポスドク）を務め、2021年8月1日より、現職。

研究の概要

主な研究分野は観光である。特に、開発途上国における貧困問題やジェンダーギャップなどの問題を縮小するために世界中で注目されている、アグリツーリズムの開発・展開について研究を行っている。ネパールを研究調査地とし、統計分析を用いて研究を進めている。
