略歴

1996年、インド・カルカッタの「マザーテレサの家(死を待つ人々の家)」で奉仕活動した経験から、公衆衛生・国際保健開発の道にインスパイアされる。カリフォルニア大学・ロスアンゼルス校で公衆衛生の修士号、ルイジアナ州・チュレーン大学で熱帯医学・公衆衛生の博士号を取得。その後、アジア開発銀行の疫学専門家、またクリントン財団(国際NGO)においてインドネシアやパプアニューギニアのHIV/エイズ予防の国家プロジェクトに従事。九州大学「持続可能な社会のための決断科学センター」を経て2021年3月より現職。

メッセージ

7歳と5歳の息子、妻と私の4人とも糸島・福岡・九州が大好きです。今まで50か国以上の国や地域を訪れましたが、このような素晴らしい環境と素晴らしい人達に囲まれていることに感謝しています。自分らしく、一期一会を大切にQ-AOSチームの一員として少しでも先生方皆様と一緒に奉仕・貢献させていただければと願っております。
