Philippines Kyushu University has academic cooperation with Ateneo De Manila University and the University of the Philippines. This academic cooperation includes joint research, staff, and student exchange program. Although only two Philippines universities have an official agreement, various researchers from Kyushu University have individual collaboration in the field of arts and science, agricultural and biological sciences, biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology, chemistry, engineering, human-environment studies, languages and cultures, environmental science, medicine, etc. 17 institutions in total have collaborated with Kyushu University with 102 co-authored publications from 2011 to 2020. By looking at this publication number, there is a strong opportunity to expand the collaboration between Kyushu University and Philippines Universities in the future.
