However, recent studies have revealed that it plays a crucial role in muscle differentiation and regeneration processes, particularly in females. In this seminar, I will present our findings on the specific functions and roles of estrogen during muscle tissue development and regeneration. Our findings are expected to contribute not only to the prevention of sarcopenia but may also have therapeutic applications for age-related muscle weakness, muscle mass loss in postmenopausal women, and muscle atrophy due to physical inactivity.
