Abstract

“Collaborative Platform in Research and Education on Humanities and Social Sciences (Jin-sha-kei Commons)” was launched in 2019 as “Commons” to promote collaboration across the diverse disciplines of the four faculties (Humanities, Human-Environment, Economics, and Law) in the 'East Zone'. Although I was not able to witness the establishment of the place, I have seen that the ideas and dreams of the faculty members have been entrusted to them since my arrival. In this seminar, I will introduce the "Commons" that have developed on the East side of the Ito Campus with some episodes. Through this, I would like to invite all of you to the platform for collaboration and Environmental Psychology as an interdisciplinary field that explores the inseparable unit of "experience and action in a place".
