To address these unmet medical needs, many clinicians are engaged in drug discovery research. However, drug development must be conducted in compliance with various regulations, and the development costs are enormous. Developing new drugs in academia, where funding is inadequate, requires a precise strategy. In this seminar, we would like to explain one of the effective strategies, "drug repositioning".
