Because relationships are fixed in the “ supporter/supported” binary, supporters or caregivers, can no longer see people with disability and dementia as individuals with abundant potential. So, how can we transcend the “supporter/supported” relationship? This seminar will introduce some improvisational and emergent “co-creative arts activities” used to challenge this binary and explore the possibilities of such activities in building rich human relationships, promoting inclusive communities regardless of disability and dementia.
