Abstract

We live in various thermal environments and always adapt to them. In the summer, its adaptation may collapse and heatstroke may occur in daily life and work situations. In addition, wearing protective clothing and masks to prevent infection increases the risk of heatstroke. In this seminar, I would like to outline the thermoregulatory function of humans and introduce research on the effects of precooling, which is one of the preventions of heatstroke, on the physiological response and mental task performance in a hot environment.
