We will provide countermeasures against biodiversity crisis in recent years through clarifying biodiversity as the diversity of molecular level.

Research Output/Outcomes in 2019

1. 2019/11/11-21 University of Malaya, Malaysia: We performed 48-hour sampling and RNA extraction of leaves from multiple tropical plant species (Shorea leprosula etc.) and obtained time-series data of gene expression.
2. 2019/11/19—20: Dr. Hiroshi Ito gave a presentation as an invited speaker in the 13th Malaysia International Genetic Conference.

Research Plan of 2020

1. 2020/9/14-18 University of Malaya, Malaysia: We will perform sampling and RNA extraction of leaves from multiple tropical plant species (Lithocarpus species etc.) to obtain time-series data of gene expression.
